STANDARD Q Malaria/CRP Duo Test is an immunochromatographic assay for the qualitative detection of P. falciparum specific to HRP-2, Plasmodium species (P. falciparum, vivax, ovale and malariae) specific to pLDH and C-Reactive Protein (CRP) in human whole blood specimen.
STANDARD Q Malaria/CRP Duo Test is an immunochromatographic assay for the qualitative detection of P. falciparum specific to HRP-2, Plasmodium species (P. falciparum, vivax, ovale and malariae) specific to pLDH and C-Reactive Protein (CRP) in human whole blood specimen. For the patient with fever who has Malaria tests negative, CRP test can be used to help differentiate bacterial infection from viral infections. The detection limit of CRP test is 20mg/L. With this results, healthcare provider can provide correct and fast treatment and avoid unnecessarily treating viral infections with antibiotics. This test kit is for in vitro use only. This is intended for professional use, only for an initial screening test.
